I love this blog post title! I have to admit, I'm kinda..a little bit of a hoarder, but in a classy way. I'll share some of my tips on how to display collections without looking like a hoarder.
Mr. B collects vintage bottles and he has them all over the house. You should have been in the house when we had a tiny earthquake, which is rare here in Southern Indiana. The whole house shook for a good 3 or 4 minutes and it sounded like a china store with all the glass shaking around.
Lucky for us nothing was damaged. He has them on shelves, in bookcases and even built some jazzy shelves just for his favorite ones in the kitchen.
Stylish Ways To Display Collections
After collection for so many years we've come up with creative ways to display our collections. I thought I would just share some of the ways we display our collections for you. Give you some ideas on how you can arrange your cherished finds so they don't make you look like such a hoarder. lol!
This is what Mr. Barry built for his prized bottle collections, these are all vintage embossed soda bottles, some of his best. It's in our kitchen and I have to say it looks really nice. It took him just a day to put together and another day to stain it.
The top picture is of all of his...I mean most of his...or ah, some of his ACL (Applied Colored Label) Vintage soda bottles. ;-)
These are just a few of the collections we have around the house. My Vintage Coffee Cup Collection is also in our kitchen. We have a plate collection in several areas of the house. It really fills up a wall. The one with the green background is at the bottom of our stairs going to the basement. Cool area to display things is the stairwell.
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to display collections without looking like a hoarder. (It makes me smile every time I read that title) How do you display your collectibles?
